experience of those who traveled in 2009:
Following the process that was developed under the Neighbourhood Working in our city (GTB La Boca-ALTO GREEN) and contact with other work experience neighborhood of college students (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), in 2009 arises possibility of a trip to the province of Chaco, in conjunction with the National University of Rosario (UNR). The aim of the initiative was by no means meet with a similar reality to which we saw every day in the neighborhood of the city of Santa Fe, but to determine the causes that led to hundreds of people embark on a tour of several cities Argentina in search of better living conditions. Our work on the site (Pampa del Indio and Castelli - Province of Chaco) consisted of the interdisciplinary team through the development of a different socio-economic survey and monitoring work.
The mode of integration of different disciplines was aimed at forming groups of students intended to tour the homes and institutions in the area. The work done in each survey was the preparation of the survey and anthropometric analysis of children. Work were also developed for the observation and indepth interviews with professionals working in the area (Teachers, Doctors, Nurses).
data processing and preparation of reports was made the return trip with the help of university professors specializing in statistical analysis and will be delivered to communities in this new journey, as a tool for use in their claims. In turn, these data were used for various research projects and exhibitions. (Meeting of nations and indigenous peoples held in Santa Fe in October 2009).
